Our Story

Our hometown of Ochelata, unlike during our childhood, has an exit sign off State Highway 75. The latest census puts the population at 436. Many of those folks did not live there when we were kids, but they belong to it just as much as we do.

There are many generational figures, stories, and legends associated with Ochelata. I think that I’ve told every friend I’ve made since flying from the nest about Gravity Hill. I wish they could all travel there to experience it first-hand. It goes beyond an optical illusion.

We started this coffee company together, a sister, a brother, and a sister-in-law, to honor and perpetuate the figures, stories, and legends that made us who we are, no matter where we ended up. Because roots run deep.

We also have always wanted to work together, and we love coffee. We hope that you’ll love ours.
